Grassfed and Finished
Our lambs are 100% grass fed and finished, which means that they are raised on their mother’s milk as well as the forage they eat in the pastures. We also feed them supplemental hay as necessary during the winter. To ensure they are getting the minerals they need, we offer them free-choice organic or all natural mineral supplements from Fertrell, as well as natural Redmond trace mineral salt and clay.
When we say that we raise our lambs organically and naturally, we mean that we do not use any hormones, steroids, antibiotics, performance enhancers, etc. We also do not use any chemical pesticides or fertilizers on our pastures. We strive for a natural, organic environment.
